After not getting a hold of someone, he seeks out women to flirt with to try to shock that void in his heart. Later on he shows how naughtily he is in need for togetherness. Holden starts to talk about his relationships with quintuplet his sister, and Jane. Jane is really fussy because Jane once gave him the companionship he is yearning for now. Sunny, the prostitute, was another strain for female companionship, be she didnt take Holden the idealized Jane he is seeking. Jane gave him emotio nal satisfaction. Wheres Sunny gives him a superficial, sexual, devoid of emotion. Holdens loneliness compels him to come in contact with people worry Sunny. Then Holden tries again with a fancy with a little girl named Sally.
